Before moving to the UK, I was certified to guide in English across Turkey, by the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism. This paved the way for me to interpret to many international business people coming to do business in Turkey. After moving to the UK in 2003, I have entered exams in 2005 and obtained the Certificate of Translation and Diploma in Public Service Interpreting.
Turkey: I am a Professional Tourist Guide acknowledged by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism licensed to provide guiding services in English to foreign visitors. I have a MA degree in International Relations from the Bilgi University, which is one of the most reputable private universities of Turkey. The curriculum of the course was in English.
Great Britain: I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL) and the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI)
